Proof & Positioning
This is the center of gravity for the whole program — and the biggest gap.
Why proof is everything here
Across discovery, proof-of-impact showed up at every decision point: - The champion = whoever sees the outcome data. - Renewal is driven by student outcomes. - The edge over competitors is measurable, full-partnership impact. - A key trigger is outcome-data drops.
So the program lives or dies on the ability to generate, package, and deploy outcome evidence.
Proof assets: have vs. need
- ✅ Have: big lists and lots of testimonials.
- ✅ Need to build: the structured proof layer —
- Outcome / data reports (student/practice-change results) — do not exist yet.
- Case studies (district story + data + quotes).
- Reference districts packaged for calls / co-presentation / board endorsements.
- 🔎 The applied-learning platform likely produces usage/outcome data that could feed this — confirm and wire it in. (See sibling repo
inspired-applied-learning, which measures behavioral change / practice application.)
First-deliverable candidate: a repeatable proof-of-impact system that turns testimonials + outcome data into case studies and reference-ready narratives. Everything else (outreach, board presentations, renewals) gets sharper once this exists.
Differentiation
- ✅ Full long-term partnership — solution + ongoing relationship, not one-off workshops. This is the stated edge against the small competing vendors.
- 🔎 Reinforcing differentiators to lean on: measurable outcomes (data the small vendors can’t show) and the applied-learning platform as tangible, ongoing value between PD touchpoints.
Competitive set
- ✅ Small PD vendors are the main competitive friction (named as a deal blocker alongside funding timing).
- 🔎 Positioning angle: small vendors sell events; Inspired sells a partnership with proof. Frame against “PD that ends when the workshop ends.”
- ❓ Name the specific recurring competitors so messaging can be sharpened.
Open threads
- ❓ What outcome metrics can Inspired actually measure today (and via the platform)?
- ❓ Which 3–5 districts are the best case-study candidates to build first?
- ❓ Are testimonials attributed (district/role) and usable publicly / in board settings?
